Looking for house for small wedding

Hi all,
We are looking for a big house to rent for a small wedding with family / close friends (50 people). Preferably in Munster area on the coast / by a lake. Option to possibly setup a marque aswell. Not interested in a wedding style venue but more interested in a house where we can organising our own food, bar, music etc.. We intend to get in caterers for food. Possibility of houses / hotel nearby to accommodate family/friends who can't be accommodated in the house.
Does anyone have any suggestions of such a house to rent?

Just put your dates, number of people and preferred region into the air bnb search engine and you'll get quite a few options. I don't know your budget, but there's quite a few large houses with grounds available at different rates, depending on how much you're willing to pay.

If you are looking off season you'll have a better chance.

Self catering accommodation is fully booked for July August with more people on staycations.

Try either Dunowen House, outside Clonakilty or there are a number of houses outside Glengarriff- Silver Birch and Linden House. I have stayed in both Dunownen House and Linden House and they are fab!

Saved this on Airbnb a while back as it looked fun. Could be nice for a small wedding if you could use the garden too. Most guests would need to stay in the area but the gardens are lovely and maybe you could have a marquee. It looks a bit "murder she wrote" style too.

Liss Ard in West Cork is lovely. Just outside Skibbereen for accommodation, it's a private estate house with a lake house as well.
