Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How can I start playing more live music?

I've always wanted to start playing music outside of my bedroom.

How can I get more involved in the music scene?

I'm into some outlaw country/Americana, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Tim McGraw and a lot I'm probably forgetting..

I'd love to get involved in the country music scene but a lot of the stuff I like doesn't seem to fit with what's popular at the minute.. I prefer songs like Feathered Indians, Tennessee Whiskey, Whiskey and You, Just To See You Smile, There Goes My Life and the likes..

Should I just look for a look pub to put me up?
    What about local festivals/gigs?

    Any suggestions are much appreciated!

    Been there - done that.
Some aren't really up for a chat, some are great to talk to.

I've known a few and I haven't seen it (with friends either) materialise into gigs
