    A long run in driving rain and gale winds, everywhere was flooded, rivers burst their banks in the forest and I was slowed to a knee-deep wade for a km for a while. Crazy weather this last while, I was glad to get back home!

    I’ll leave breaking 100 till tomorrow, 1200meter climbing on the bike this morning I couldn’t manage that last 200 meters on a run. 39 minutes of very stop start running this evening

    Easy recovery after the turbo.
    After getting over the hump of the month this is starting to feel like a chore and I'm going to bail at the first sign of any stress/niggles.

    Ankle was giving me issues, I've learnt from last year not to push through. Ended up taking a break from running for a few months after trying to do that. Best of luck guys.

    fair play on making the right call, this is one of those things that seems so easy before you actually start it. it takes a toll after a while.

    couple of years back doing this i knew i had a cold/flu, but refused to stop running(was coughing and snotting as i ran along) as it wasn't too bad, kept going for another 5/6 days, finally gave in, and when i did one of the worst colds i have ever had hit me for 5 days solid, couldn't leave the couch. forcing the body to run killed every bit of resistance i had and when it hit it wiped me out.

    as some one said, don't be a hero, it's supposed to be fun, well done on getting this far

    Thanks Mossy, really wanted to finish this year but there are more important things and it ahs in part served its purpose. I have taken time for me during the winter months and kick started my training for next year.

    Will try and keep up the time as 30 minutes of training but give the running a miss
