Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is the vat rate on energy performance upgrade works 23%? The Seai grants are only cover 30-40% of the quotes the I am getting for various upgrade options that I have been quoted for in the past few days?

thats would be the general ratio ... actually if anything a little higher.

5 years ago the grants would have only covered about 25% of the costs of works.

With the current Green Wave, your'd think the government would allow the tax to be reclaimed by the owner getting the upgrades

If the Government weren't gaining monetarily if would certain put their position on a more solid footing...

But back on topic, OP are the quotes inclusive of VAT. When i was getting works done after i brought my house, some quotes included VAT and others didn't it was a little confusing at the time
