    Evening can a local jeweller pressure test a watch or is it specialised ?

    Think it can depend on the watch brand, but open to correction. Not sure a local jeweller could help - TBH some of them seem reluctant to change a battery.

    Fast Fix do resealing and pressure testing, as do watchfix.ie. The Irish distributor and service centre for Seiko is Timemark.ie, and they will do a reseal and pressure test as part of a service or battery replacement.
