Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Folks,
    I have this watch https://www.ebay.de/itm/392777687705
and Im needing to replace the leather strap as its completely worn.
I was looking on https://www.watch-band-center.com/shop2/index.php for a replacement strap and I notice its possible to buy straps with our without a clasp. I'm wondering is it easy to fit the old flip clasp on a new strap or whats the easiest way to go about this?

    thanks

Clasp is likely on a springbar and so is really easy to change.

yeah you were right. I just removed the clasp from the strap and it was a springbar also.
Can the clasp be attached to any strap by swapping it for the buckle or must I buy a certain type of strap?

    Thanks

The clasp width is important and the size of the push through bit (I think it's called the keeper) is important but I've swapped loads of straps and clasps and stuff and it's all good
