Attic insulation

Hi all,

A few questions about attic insulation:

1) What's a good buy for one, including delivery?
2) In our case, we have a skylight on that extends from our upstairs landing ceiling through the attic into the roof. This skylight shaft is only partially insulated in the attic (one side has some loft insulation). What would I use the fix more insulation to this wooden shaft? Something like a staple gun maybe?

would want to be some staple !

presume you are talking about some Rockwool or the likes
try tying it in place? rope or tape maybe all the way around the shaft
some kind of glue?

or some of the Kingspan type insulation would be easy enough to fix in place I imagine with some tec 7

definitely get some thick rigid board insulation and fix it using tec 7

don't get rockwool

I was wonder if, rather than rigid board, something like Superquilt, which would be easier to work with, could be used?

I presume i could staple this into place around the skylight tunnel?

That quilt looks crap.

How is rigid board hard to work with?
