I am just wondering why this thread https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057972127 in the Electrical forum which is clearly in breach of the "illegal works" section of the forum charter is allowed to remain. It is also concerning that one of the forum moderators actually posts on the thread.
I am sure that no other forum on boards would allow open discussion of something that is clearly against the law, seemly with the consent of the forum moderators.
Anyone who has any doubt about the consequences of illegal electrical works should do a simple Google search for "electrican prosecuted"

    Extract from Electrical Forum Charter

    Illegal Acts or "Nixers"

    Illegality is... illegal.
This rule means no advocating, no condoning, and no soliciting or providing information about means of breaking the law including the Restricted Electrical Works Legislation (see above) and the evasion of taxes.

    I am confused

I can find no record of you reporting any posts from that thread

Why have you started a thread in Site Feedback (now moved to Help Desk), rather than following the correct process of reporting problem posts?
