Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We've used the 150kw at Ballinalack twice over the past couple of days, all good. Tried using the 50kw last night which tried to connect then gave a red light on the charger and then disconnected but the people using the 150kw were just plugging out so we used that instead and didn't investigate any further. It's probably fine.

    New 50kW charger by easygo

The latest 50kW DC Charger to go live on EasyGo is at SuperValu Ireland, Loughrea, Co. Galway. Photos and location on plugshare and easygo app.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,877 ✭✭✭zg3409

ESB app says this site is now up and running as of today, but may not be, may still be testing. It's somewhat close to the Dublin Sligo road near kinnegad, but easygo mullingar is less off the main road. I would expect this site to be relatively quiet as a result of the location away from National routes.

    Starbucks Naas

    50kW ChaDeMo and CCS

    2 X 22kW AC

Use Easygo app to activate and pay. Power to site is restricted for the moment so maximum speeds will be lower. How low unknown. Easygo say it's fully tested and live https://www.plugshare.com/location/335464

📣 We have a new charging "hub" available for EV drivers in Co. Laois. You can find it at:

📌 Circle K Service Station, M8 At Junction 3 (R433), Ballacolla, Co. Laois

⚡ There is one fast charger (50kW) and one high power charger (150kW) available at this location.

⚡ Please note that this site is in line with ESB’s approach to move away from AC 43 connectors due to low demand. The configuration at this site includes: one CCS and one CHAdeMo cable on the high power charger and one CCS and one CHAdeMo cable and one 22 kW AC untethered socket on the fast charger.

Brady's garage coolquay on the N2 near Dublin. On free vend but will be 33c/kWh. Not ESB, not easygo, not sure who they are with.

2x 50 kW CCS and ChaDeMo, no AC

Nice to see more competitors and great to see multiple chargers on one site, pity they mounted the chargers so close to each other.

    Rochestown in Cork back online with a 150kW + 50kW unit;

No picture but there are two new 150KW high power units installed in the new N17 Supermacs Plaza in Tuam, Co. Galway.

They are installed sideways like the new unit in J14 so I guess two connectors on each side of each unit.

All the on-street charge points on Three Rock Road in Sandyford, Dublin have been marked off and painted bright green. They’re also adorned with an EV logo and (poorly chosen) Electric Vehicle Parking text. Considering how busy on-street parking in the business park is, the only occupied EV space is by a car that is a charging which is great to see, no ICEing in sight.

Frankfield Cork is back on-line with a twin CCS 150kW Delta unit (each CCS paired with a 70kW Chademo). No AC here

Also Glynn’s Oranmore now on-line with 150kW Delta unit and 50kW Efasec unit. Includes a 22kW AC socket.

Kildare Village - 7x twin AC chargers meaning a 14 car hub in their new carpark….. impressive.

Kildare Village now charges 18 cars simultaneously…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,877 ✭✭✭zg3409

UCD, 24 cars can charge at once. May not be actually live yet but looks in place. 4 hour time limit, permit parking. New car park. Price and speed and activation unknown. Taken from Facebook. Now that's what I call a hub.

3 Chargepoint chargers in the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, just off the main Limerick Tralee Rd

They are relatively new cant remember seeing them last time I was down there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,877 ✭✭✭zg3409

Tesco Extra Craigavon Northern Ireland. 4 X 7kW (not 22kW) free chargers. Requires pod point app to confirm or charging will stop

They have been working since mid December 2021 but not mentioned here.

    News article

kind of pointless green washing at those speeds but hopefully they will upgrade later.
