Spot spraying docks with agroxone 50

    Have a small field/garden of about an acre that is bad with docks and was going to spray it with the budget as it would not be worth my while getting a man with a sprayer. I have agroxone 50 left over from when the contractor sprayed other fields would it be ok to use this and if so at what dilution/rate.
    The field only has sheep grazing it so i suppose if i left them long enough in it to eat it bare they might eat the docks, but i want to move them on to fresh grass

    Really takes the proper Dock spray to do the job.

    If you spray with agroxone, nearly before you you've even left the fieid, the docks will have fell over sick, 7 days later they'll be standing up again like proud Mary.

    I'll not say that 2 or 3 doses of agroxone over the summer, may keep them at bay, as I don't know, but if you only want to spray once, then I'd imagine you'd need specific Dock spray.
    If you had gallop or round up and went easy with your spray nozzle then that would work better.

    Just my personal experience.

    Agroxone 50 is more suited for spraying Rushes and is likely to have little effect in the eradication of Docks. It will kill the Dock leaves only.

    Roundup kills grass as well. Grazing doesn’t

    Indeed.
    But “spot spraying” just sprays target weed, roundup would be fine for that. Have done it myself with minimal grass loss.

    And from memory Grazon90 is boom only not lance spraying

    No, Grazon90 is recommended for Knapsack. If you dont want yellow patches left after, its a great job.OP Get a bottle of Grazon90 or Grazon pro, and be done with it.
