Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Like so many, I was shocked to hear the news. I met Shane a couple of times and found him charming, fascinating and always felt he would be a great man to go for a pint with. His knowledge and passion for history was infectious. Glasnevin will not be the same without him. My sympathies to his family and colleagues at Glasnevin.
    Rest in peace Shane

    RIP Shane

    My condolences to your family.

He brought myself and my family around a few years ago. As previous poster said, his knowledge and passion for history was infectious. Cannot put this any better.

    Rest in Peace.
