Looking for advice on makes of best quality valve stem seals on the market?
Have to choose between AJUSA, ELRING, FAI, BILSTEIN/FEBI, CORTECO and REINZ.
    For Merc OM612 5 cyl 2.7 engine.
    Thanks

I suggest go with whatever the mechanic says, unless you're doing this DIY?

Doing it DIY with head in place.
    Garages wanted mad money.
Even local mechanic turned it down. Said it would be a 'can of worms'! Seized
    glow plugs, seized injectors etc.
Due a half week off from work so will have a crack at it then. There are a few
vids on YouTube should be a help.
Just not sure which brand valve seals are best.

Out of them lot, Elring, Victor Reinz or Corteco would be preference. Elring and Victor Reinz at least would be OE suppliers to many engine manufacturers.
In my day job we work on a lot of OM400 based Nat gas engines and many of the gaskets and seals we would use would be Elring / VR from our engine repair shop supplier. Never have any issue with them.
