wind power battery charger

    Hi all, im new to boards so take it easy on me, lol. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about diy wind genoration, i have a Marlec wind charger and i was looking to find a basic charger circuit. I knew a guy who had made his own wind charger from an old car dynamo (not an alternator) and he used car bulbs to dump the excess voltage once the batterys were fully charged. So any boffins out there that can point me in the right direction, ohh, and please understand im not an electronics expert so be nice.:confused::)
