Got this offer by email from them, don't know if it's great value but I thought I would post it anyway.

Seems nice enough spec but I think the resolution on a 17 inch screen is a bit small... 1920 or 1600 would be better.

My brother got a 20% off next order voucher with his infamous chair. I wonder would it work when buying the computer? basically you'd be getting it for the ex-vat price plus a couple of euro. Is it a good deal at that?

Plus if you had a vat registered family member/good friend who could get the vat back, that would make it 296 ish.......mmmm.

That's a good price for a 17" laptop off the shelf, not so long ago they were €800 minimum.

Yes John-i'm holding it in my hand! Its a paper voucher that came in a folder type of thing-you also got a catalogue. I'm seriously thinking of ordering it now! My son would be so happy(or maybe he'd prefer a gecko...hmmm)

Forget about it.

My sister went to order it at the OP price and they told her the product has been "discontinued"

Out of stock in the UK as well. Went through placing my whole order and both the laptop and the really nice back which was free with orders over 100 pound were out of stock GRRRR:mad:
