My son was assaulted late last year and 1 top front tooth was knocked totally out of the gum the 1 beside it was broke in half. Hospital reinserted tooth and held it in place with cement till he got to to the dental hospital on the Monday morning . He's had root canal on the 1 that was reinserted and a retainer replaced behind the teeth . He is a musician and currently finds it sore to play . He's a Piper would any one have any ideas recommendations as to anything he could do to allviate the pressure he puts on the teeth as the front 1 to him still feels loose. It would be a great help to him mentally
    Thanks

Honestly you'd be better getting an opinion from a dentist/specialist in person. Dental trauma can be a complicated subject and needs to be followed up carefully following guidelines. There are many variables to take into account.

The dental hospital should have booked a review appointment. Ask them your options as they will have all the information and be best able to advise you.

similar thing happened to me a few years ago.front tooth was knocked out and required an implant. took a year to fix properly. get checked up with dentist. its a relatively small thing but still a loss and especially when taken by somebody else. it can become a depressng reminder
