Talk of Norwich putting a bid in a few weeks back with some unnamed Premier League team also interested so wouldn't be surprised if true.

We could use that money to buy Dylan Hayes back from Bray.

Dylan Watts signs from Leicester on loan until July. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think his contract is up in July anyway so maybe we can keep him if he's any use. Was anyone at the friendlies? Some lad called Rob Manley started up top. Could be decent to have him with Swan out. Heard Eoin Morgan might be loaned to Cabo as well but just took him out because he wouldn't have been playing that much anyway. Decent squad there. Nice bit of depth too with a lot of versatile players.

Still a bit light up front. Especially with Swan injured. If Dinny get's injured we're in trouble.

Rob is a young UCD lad - think he might play with their LSL team mainly since his stint with the U19s.

Lorcan Fitz lined out for us in a friendly against Derry the other day.

He was played out of position. Looked like he had the potential to be a decent winger. Habeas no front man though

Wouldn't mind seeing us lineup something like
    .......................... Supple

    Pender.........Cornwall......Casey.......Leahy

    Devanney...Buckley.....Brennan........Ward

    .......................Watts

    .......................Dinny

Now bear in mind I haven't seen any of pre-season and have no idea how any of the new lads look but that team looks decent.

Eoghan Stokes has joined Bohemians from Leeds United, a great signing for Bohs, in particular, as Shamrock Rovers were also interested in signing him. Great to see Dalymount sold out for tomorrow nights big Dublin Derby.

Played for rovers last Saturday, surely it was the idea of joining bohs, cause rovers hands down offering more money, if you put both on paper why would you join rovers bar money

Was not expecting that! Great result, average performance but promising signs grinding out wins when not playing great.

Playing for Bradley vs Long. No brainer.

Bohs terrible in the first half, really only played in the last in the last 20 minutes but made it count. Superb finish by Paddy Kavanagh for the lead goal.

Best footballing performance from a Bohs team in a good while. Nice to have two cups in the bag as well and it's only April.

Very good interview with Trevor Croly on LOI Weekly. Talks about the Rovers game, his role as number and lots of stuff about Bohs in general and the LOI itself. Good guy

Much needed result last night. Hopefully we can kick on from it and start putting the points on the board that our performances deserve. I'm starting to miss Europe.

Be great if we got a result against Dundalk tonight. I know it's our kids out there but it's a good chance for them to impress. Imagine we got to a final or won a trophy under Long. Would be great and no less than he deserves

Tough for a part time team to play two games so close together.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,505 ✭✭✭but1er

League is ruining bohs sadly. Dont have the team or fitness to compete real shame

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,314 ✭✭✭BOHtox

Yeah the league is too condensed. No reason why we can't extend it till November

Would prefer if clubs stopped catering to the other clubs playing in Europe. should be legitimate reasons for postponing games over Europe.

Also postponing games over a player/s on international duty is ridiculous too.

Subs made an impact on Friday. Would like to see Grant start for Kavanagh (Think this will be his last year at Bohs) and Lunney too for whoever he came on for.

Who’s coming to Scotland for the prestigious IRN-BRU Challenge Cup in September? Fingers crossed for Stenhousemuir away.

Nice trip to London against Sutton United would be better

Watts released by Leicester. Be great if we can sign him on a year and a half deal (and before anyone bites, Supple and Corcoran are currently on two year deals and last year we got Sule, Brennan and O'Hora on two year deals so it's possible).

I’d say he’ll be snapped up soon enough. We can’t compete for that type of player unfortunately.

From what I've heard regarding the money Watts is on there is not a chance he will be staying with us.

The main reason he play for us is that he lives on the same road as Long.

Yeah he definitely wasn't given a fair crack of the whip in my opinion. He knows where the net is and there was times we had Kaleem Simon up top who was a headless chicken. Decent signing with very good potential I think

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,314 ✭✭✭BOHtox

Watts had a good start with us but hasn't done much last few games and we still got a win against Pats and a draw against Waterford (games he was poor and a game he wasn't playing). Lunney looked good in his place against Waterford and is left footed so adds a bit of balance to the team.

We actually played good stuff against Waterford. Cornwall taking the ball off Supple, lots of triangles in the middle, full backs overlapping etc. The good pitch probably helped, no doubt.

If Limerick players are free to leave I'd like Eoin Wearen back. A creative player who played very well at centre half against us and again, looks to play out from the back.

Wearen would best suited to playing in a 3 coming out with the ball.

Leahy looked very sharp last night coming back from injury.
Bohs might struggle to keep him at the end of the season if he keeps up his form.
