Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dental Bridge

    I had a consultation with a specialist Periodontist & Implantologist regarding a missing front tooth (was thinking of an implant) & she referred me to another specialist (prosthology?) & between them they advised that given the bone loss that (even with a bone graft) I would be a more suitable candidate for a bridge.
    They assured me that as I don't have a gummy smile that looks wise the bridge would appear & almost feel same as an implant. (bonus being I don't have to have a gum graft for it)
    I guess my concern is the fact that they have to pare down two healthy teeth - this is what makes me nervous? One of the teeth while healthy has a degree of mobility am terrified would the bridge make it worse or better? I am going back for periodontal work before I start the bridge prep anyway so I will talk to them about this. So just looking for some reassurance I guess & how long do bridges typically last if taken care of?
