Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks everyone, will definitely wait until a bit better weather. There's something about a house in a seaside village looking out on sea

Youghal in cork. Fantastic history, nice beaches and lots for kids to do. Very close to Ardmore and cork city for day trips

    Portmarnock Velvet Strand.

Hotel nearby backing on to it is good too. The one with the Golf Links.

There is a great walk between there and Malahide all along the coast too.

Where you coming from or what's max distance for you?

Inchydoney, West Cork. Beautiful. While not a village, its 5 minutes from the lovely town of Clonakilty with fantastic grub, pubs and attractions. :D

I usually stay in a cottage down there, path to the beach and amazing views over the sea.

PM me if you want the details. :)
