DMW closed at Dublin Sport today

Today, Stephen's Day, I attempted to access the DMW up past the ski-slope but was declined access by the security guy at the gate. Said something about filming (today?) amongst other vagueness. This happen before? But if a pain.

Could be a right of way issue? Some rights or way are closed for one day a year (or for one day a penny will be charged) to prevent them becoming a permanent public access route. I saw such a sign over the last week or so (I think it was somewhere at Vartry by Roundwood.
