Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trebuchet competition anyone?

    I fancy making a model from scratch.
    Not sure if balsa wood, or harder woods, possibly laminated choc-ice sticks or plastic drinking straws but I thought of making a working model trebuchet from cheap and cheerful materials.

    eg something like this:
    Desktop+trebuchet+DIY+Construction+Kit+2.jpg

    These are the essential parts:

    There are options like adding a little winding winch to pull the weight down to set it for release. That might be up to the individual whether to add that feature or just do a manual set via hands.


    Are you interested in doing one too?
    If several are having a go we could make it into a Models Forum Trebuchet Competition.

    If so, post "Yes" under this post, and we can start into choosing a standard (maximum/minimum size) measurements for people to work within according to his / her own choice.
