Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is sand straight from a beach suitable and would I only need a brush to do the job. If beach sand isn't suitable can you please recommend professional sand to use. Thanks

Beach sand is too coarse and will just blow away. You need jointing sand.

Sand is a PITA weeds will use it as a sprouting medium, you are better off using a proper jointing compound like Rompox or similar as it hardens and prevents plant growth.
It couldn't be easier, just wet surface and brush in, leave to harden and brush off excess.

Just used bostik equivalent to point new from door steps. Lovely finish so easy to apply and sets itself. Way nicer than poxy sand.

Used Joint-It last year. Looks great and very happy with it. Only had a small piece to joint but can be expensive if you have a lot.

If you use sand you will be plagued with weeds!
