Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

I am planning on putting a concrete slab base for a steel garden shed, I am completely new to this and want to do it myself.

For 120 square feet how much exactly will I spend?

Assuming it will be 6 Inches deep you’ll need 1.7 cubic metres of concrete, you’ll also need a base of hardcore under the concrete and 6 inch planks for screeds. Readymix is around 90-100 euro a metre. 170 for concrete probably 70 for hardcore and 30 for screeds, only a rough guess around €300.

This is a duplicate post which is completely unnecessary, especially in the current climate

Where can I buy the readymix, I've looked around and it's about EUR8.00 for 25kg?

By readymix, he is referring to a mixertruck that will arrive with the mixed concrete on board not bags of dry mixed stuff.
Those trucks can take circa 7 cubic m and you need only 2 but they will deliver part loads with a little surcharge.

So it's cheaper to buy a ready mix concrete than to mix myself. Can I just mix it myself? How many bags exactly?
