Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Magnetic induction issues

    Hello guys,

    I got a zanussi hob installed in my apartment. From the next day when I used three hot plates at the same time, I got a tik tik sound and the hob started switching on and off. I got the hob changed and got a bosch one installed. Initially there weren't any issues, now after 2 months of using it, the three hot plate has arised again. Now, I'm not too sure what is happening here. I don't think both the hobs could have the same issues?!?

    Please help

    this happens when power level drops, you may find that it works ok at off peak periods of power usage

    I think it's the magnetic coating on your pots and pans. I've noticed that depending on what pot I use I hear a tic. I have always presumed it was the hot plate regulating the heat or perhaps I'm using one of my lesser quality induction pots and it's not making a good 'connection' to the hotplate. Is it the same with every pot you use and if so are they a set? If so, maybe try a different make and see what happens. It also tics when I use a small pot on one of the larger hot plates.
