    Inevitable but still disappointing
Will Fairyhouse follow or will they go behind closed doors?
    Punchestown? Irish Guineas.....

Surely closed doors better than abandoned but who knows
I see most bookies closing the doors from tomorrow also

Can't imagine any of the big prize money meetings will go ahead, the bread and butter races will be fine behind closed doors

Its a pity but understandable in the current climate. With regards to weekly race meeting I can see them been cancelled soon rather than behind closed doors. The UK government announced today that emergency services will no longer be provided to mass gatherings, even a behind closed doors racing meeting needs quite a few members of the emergency services so I can't see them taking place.

Every bookie will close bar the vermin that is Ladbrokes

Like I said in the main COVID19 thread, I hope many bookies don't ever open up after the virus blows over. And then some actually take proper bets

Of course they will. The race not taking place is a standard 'money back on all bets' situation.

The UK will not now provide emergency service support for any events like this. That pretty much means no professional sport, as medical cover and particularly ambulances will not be available. I don't think there's much chance of this changing this side of July, and it could easily drag on well beyond that

I would not be surprised if a similar edict on emergency services goes out in Ireland in the next few days

I wonder will Betfair refund my 200 on the Netherlands on Euro 2020. Luckily I managed to cancel another 100.
I seems to have escaped them that Euro 2020 and Euro 2021 are different events.

Antepost bets are being voided and Euros bets being carried to next year. Single bets can be fully cashed out or voided on request.

This is with PP and Betfair.

My bests are exchange bets. Sportsbook bets are probably refundable as they are between the better and Betfair/Flutter.
