Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I'm looking for a dishwasher suitable for building in for the older style IKEA kitchen units. Units are 15 years old or so but in good condition so not in any push to replace. Proposed position might allow end panel to be taken off should dishwasher be a tad wider than the existing opening. Prefer to be able to have existing door hung on the dishwasher door.

Looking for one with a reasonably good energy rating. Make not too important but probably mid range make. Big enough for about 5 peoples worth of crockery etc

Looking for advice, options, tips, model numbers etc

    Regards all

If your cabinets and doors are IKEA I’d suggest you go for their dishwasher. Ren fora is €399 and comes with 5 year warranty, so great value. It also included the kit to fit it properly into IKEA kitchen and door.

Ikea dishwashers should be the same size as any other dishwasher. Integrated dishwashers are 60cm wide or 45cm wide.

They will all include the appropriate door fixings.

Other brands dishwashers would not fit ikea doors unfortunately. You can buy the kit to try and fit it but it often fails.
