I like Diego's chances as Michel does gas and you'll gas earlier in Rio Rancho. I've backed him to win insidevthe distance at 4/1 and in round 3 at 18/1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,966 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Well I got very lucky there. Woohoo!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,966 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

On Anderson to win inside the distance at 6/4 and a small bet on round 1 at 8/1.

I think Corey has improved over the last while and fancy him strongly.

change of heart on diego, mate is on perreira pts which is huge at 7/1

gone for the double of vannata medeiros to go the distance and corey to win at 17/10

ffs you couldn't make it up sometimes :(

    Double
    Xiaonan, Yan @ 4/11
    Kowalkiewicz v Xiaonan
    Mustafaev, Magomed @ 8/11

what can possibly go wrong :p

Lost a split and deservedly so

I could start cutting and pasting my posts here....

In my usual search for small stakes value I'm going for the oddsboosting women's fight to go to decision.

For a 6 footer Megan Anderson has looked terrible at times, gone for her opponent Norma Dumont by decision at 5.5

Likewise Felicia Spencer is very short, indeed is only 1.57 to win by sub, so I'm taking her to win by decision at 4.0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    romero 9/4

can't resist those odds, might lose but I'll surely get a
    great run for my money

another close call I reckon, odds too big

In my opinion if he wins it's by KO/TKO. Can't see him win a decision really unless there's a fair amount of grappling.

    KO is about 7/2

I've gone Joanna win and Adesanya on points double - 7/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,966 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I like Adesanya and Zhang both to win inside the distance.

For my usual small stakes value hunting I have gone for:

Joanna on points, think she is a great price and she regularly goes the distance over 5 rounds, 12/5

Emily Whitmire missed weight, so a no-brainer bet for her to win on pts, 21/10

Safarov looks interesting, his opponent is shortest priced fav of the night, undefeated but inexperienced, has only 1 UFC fight. Safarov won his last fight on pts and lost his previous 2 to Tyson Pedro and Gian Villante, I think him to win on pts at 12/1 is a great bet at a big price.

I have gone for Yoel and Zhang, the odds on Yoel are mad..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,435 ✭✭✭weemcd

Few quid on Yoel for the craic.

Knowing my luck I'd suggest everyone backs Izzy now, he's sure to be a cert.

    Backed yoel R4 at 30s

    Joanna by decision
    Adesanya by ko or submission
    Double @ 6.6/1

    Adesanya
    Joanna
    Dariush
    Magny
    O malley
    Win accum @ 17.6/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    Burns pts 6/4

Can't see him losing and maia hasn't been finished since 2009

    Trinaldo pts
    Oliveira sub
    Treble

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,891 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

    Burns & Oliveira for me...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

Is souza at 8/11 an absolute gift to beat uriah hall?

what am I missing? he's only lost to the best guys out there over the years.

Out of his last 5 losses 3 were splits v gastelum romero and blach, got murdered by whittaker and outpointed by hermansson

you could go back far enough to see hall beating mousasi who subsequently murdered him in a rematch and thiago santos but he hasn't beaten a top guy since 2015

I'd be seeing him as more of a 4/9 2/5

    I agree myself.

    Have 100 on Jacare/Gaethje double.

Will take a closer look after weigh ins for the rest of my bets.

I like Gaethje too for this and think he could get tony outa there in two rounds but if tony is still there after round 3 it might be a different story

I'm thinking of a single on souza and the double of ngannou and rose

can't see that lad troubling francis and andrade got lucky in that first fight.

Very much like the 11/8 on Werdum via TKO against Oleinik.

Obviously the fight could be a whimper but there’s no need for Werdum to leave it go to the ground. Fancy the stoppage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,739 ✭✭✭ASOT

    100 on Gaethje/ Jacare double again. 3/1

    25 on Gaethje/Jacare/Bryce/Cejudo. 8/1

pettis will surely outpoint cowboy here

    Think Rosenstruik odds are great.
OK he is nowhere near as good as Big Fran but it only takes one dig

    I'm with you in Rosenstruik.

I also fancy Luque to take out Niko in round 1.

Tony and Cejudo KO is enhanced from 10/1 to 14/1 on PP.

    Worth a tenner

It's a decent price but can't see anything outside a decision win in the BW title fight. Hopefully for Cruz.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

I think the price on cruz is pretty decent 15/8

saying that I've lost a small fortune backing against cejudo

like waterson also as an underdog

thinking the double of ngannou kattar is a cert in my eyes 9/10
could add werdum to bring it up to 6/4
I just didnt think werdum looked in great shape but even still he'll probably win yet oleynik looked for me to be in the best shape ever

going my max bet on the ngannou kattar double at 9/10

I just can't see either losing, rosen was very lucky to get past overeem, kattar will have too much for stephens

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,966 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I think people keep underestimating Rosenstruik. He is a very smart fighter and he has power. I think he has the smarts to avoid Ngannou's lunges and pick him off everytime and one of them will lead to a ko. 7/2 is a nice price for him to do it inside the distance.

How did the odds look after Jacare pulling out?

    5/4 and 5/1-ish?

13/8 and about 5/1 yeah, was happy enough anyway because i had a weird feeling Jacare might have gotten beat after listening to hall talking about his prep for this fight.

Don't really fancy anything as much as I did on Saturday but have went with the following for interest.

20 on Simon, Rothwell & Smith at 5/1
20 on Simon, Johnson, Rothwell & Smith at 9/1
10 on Rothwell Sub, Johnson Points & Smith Tko/ko at 65/1

    Sijara Eubanks - points
    Marvin Vettori - points
    OSP - win

    Treble comes in at 7/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,966 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I'm gonna do Simon, St. Preux, Hernandez and Vettori in an accum. at 7.2/1.
    I fancy Glover by ko/dq/sub at 3/1.
Taking a chance on Moras by ko/dq/sub at 13/2.
Going for Azure round 1 at 13/2.
    Michael Johnson decision at 15/8.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

fancy smith, beaten gus and oez in his last three, better opposition than
tex has faced recently, think he has an advantage standing, too quick for tex imo

plan was to double him with vettori but that fight is off....simon let me down last couple of fights, really fancied him last time out...faber win was imo a fluke. This will be close

Is arlovski not seriously overpriced at 13/10 I see nothing in Lins that makes him a 4/6 short yet haven't seen him fight either

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,891 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

I think Smith will be where my moneys at too....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    osp smith double 13/8

big ben is imo just tough...not very good besides, lucky not to be 0/4 after his last one
He might land a haymaker against osp but it's the only way he wins for me (possibly might tire out osp in the 3rd)

osp not had a pts win in over 4 years/12 fights and 4 of his last 5 wins were subs so taking that at 9/2 even though ben might won't be easy to sub

smith ko is miserable at evens so leaving that, maybe pts might be value at 6s
    I've a feeling he'll outclass tex

small one on arlovski pts also, seems to be the only way he's able to win these days 3/1

I can see OSP being very successful with kicks. Rothwell always has his hands very high, leaves the legs and body wide open.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

not a whole lot sticking otu for me tonight, chickened out on arlovski last time also and thinking matt brown might be worth a bet as an underdog, tough ask for a guy who's only having his second ufc fight after the contender series facing a finisher like brown, 20/22 wins have been by finish with 14 by ko

4 small ones this time one or two surely not to much to ask for

    hernandez sub 9/2 hills
    barbosa pts 9/4 hills
    hill pts 4/1 paddy
    brown ko 9/2 hills
