Delighted if everyone fills it each month. Just a simple visible comparator.

Hope not, it needs to be visible on every farm related forum.
There is talk of using Blockchain tech to shine a transparency light on all links in a food chain and the fair division of the margin on the product.

Macron tried that with Lactalis and they told him to feck off. He then ordered Lactalis to produce their most recent accounts...and they told him to fcuk off again! Lactalis were then told that they’d be fined something like €2.2mnl per day until they produced accounts...again they told Macron to fcuk off! That’s over a year ago now....lol.

Drop in price for August and September.

    36cpl + vat for 3.2p and 3.8bf base price.

Basterds know that there’s a 2-3cpl top up for seasonality until October...so they drop the base price!

Edit. At the bottom of the email the Coop notes that there’s an 8% drop in production of dairy stock so they reckon the foreseeable is looking good for a strong milk price.

    Reasons to be cheerful folks!

Glanbia 30c inc vat plus 0.5c makey uppy money
    So 30.5cpl unchanged

    From the text link :

Glanbia Chairman Martin Keane said: “Glanbia Ireland has maintained its base price of 30cpl for the high volume month of June. However milk suppliers should note that returns from the market are below the current farm gate price. The Board will continue to monitor developments on a monthly basis”.

NOW Whose Fault is that Glanbia???
Any responsibility of you the processor? That what you apparently are able to get for our milk is less than everyone else in Europe...

I posted this in the dairy thread - but might as well through it in here also. Its just a graph that I made from the CSO for milk price throughout the 1990's. it's Euro and including VAT

Glanbia are 30cpl then 0.5cpl from ourselves. We normally get a payment for the uht milk in April's milk cheque. We are still waiting for it. Why is everything such a struggle?

They don't even have transparency, no CoOp does on how much they get for our milk each month, where and how its sold and competitive analysis with other processors in Europe or targets... or why the targets aren't met or any consequences for the management (except the aul farmers)

Its just give us the milk and we'll do what we can with it and keep as much of it as possible for ourselves, shur ye will do nothing about it

    It's that simple

The wording in this months milk announcement hints at price cuts, the wall of milk they have taken in this spring/summer isn’t helping either trying to shift it with Brit-exit looming they have a perfect excuse
