Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Social Science PhD Funding?

So I'm beginning a master in IR in UCD in September with the goal of going on to do a PhD the following year but I always find conflicting information regarding funding. Uni websites often say things like "There are a number of funding opportunities available" without specifying what proportion of them get the funding. I wouldn't mind travelling abroad to the UK or the EUI in Italy or something in order to secure funding but I'd rather in Ireland if possible

How common is it to receive PhD funding in an area like this which I know is not as flush as other topics might be?
