Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I had aspirations of self building a house in 3/4 years time - how would I learn?

I've limited knowledge on construction but would like to self build a house in a few years time (3,4+).

What would you recommend for me to learn? I'm an office worker but I do have studied modules on construction/building regs etc when in college so I'm not a complete noob.

I remember seeing a self build guide in Ireland and it seemed good but theory can only get you so far.

    What suggestions would you make?
