Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Infraction on Chinese mobile thread

    I got an infraction a few days ago for posting a link to a mobile phone in the Chinese mobile thread.
    You have been infracted for posting advertising your company.

    I sent a subsequent PM to say I have no links to the website and no affiliate links. I hardly think that my posting history has been a ruse for a over a year so I could post this one link to make my millions.
    The link you posted redirects to an affiliate link then goes back again, so someone is getting paid whenever it's clicked.

    My link was removed and I was infracted. The thing is I have checked similar links posted within that thread and they all seem to do the same thing.

    Click on any of the links over the last few pages which are for coolicool, gearbest etc. They all redirect to another link before coming back to the page. I sent the moderator in question this but he has since not replied.

    Could someone have a look please
