Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dublin 6 Resurfacing Works - Micky Mouse Job. (Rathmines + Rathgar Rds)

These roads are a complete mess, making them very uncomfortable to cycle on.

    And dangerous.

I've noticed cyclists weave in and out of the cycle lane to avoid the lumpy surface and potholes.

I was delighted to hear there was going to be reinstatement and resurfacing works on these roads.

Bad enough that they are only doing two stretches - they could certainly do with fixing the Rathmines end of the Rathgar Road, but the standard of the results leave a lot be be desired.

The refilled surface, while a lot better than before, is not completely flush with the existing road.

I can see potholes been created very easily here, esp if we have a bad winter.

I know they can do a much better job because I saw them do it at the Keniworth Junction a few months ago.

You would hardly know they had fixed the road there apart from color of the new tarmac. It is 100% flush.

These are the parts of Rathmines Rd, Rathgar Rd and Richmond St they are fixing.
