Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Travel Dublin-Waterford for Just €2 with Bus Éireann Twitter Offer

    Bus Éireann has added to its great value Twitter-only offers with a special single fare of €2 on its Dublin-Waterford Route 4 service. Tickets for this offer can only be purchased by visiting http://twitter.com/buseireanndeals and clicking on the offer link.

    The €2 single fare tickets for off-peak services between Dublin and Waterford are available on a limited number of seats per service from now until September 30th 2009.

    The €2 single fare applies to the following services –

    * Dublin-Waterford (Route 4) - 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:30 (Monday to Saturday). 10:00, 12:30, 13.30, 14:30 (Sunday)
    * Waterford-Dublin (Route 4) - 10:00, 11:30, 13:30, 15:30 (Monday to Saturday). 9:30, 11:30, 14:45: 17:30 (Sunday)

    With Bus Éireann’s integrated network that connects Ireland, customers can use Route 4 to travel onwards to a wide range of destinations across the country including Youghal, Cork City, Tralee, Clonmel, Tipperary, Sligo, Donegal and Limerick City.

    Bus Éireann has also extended its initial Twitter-only offer of a €2 single fare on off-peak services on its Dublin-Galway and Cork-Galway services until September 15th 2009.

    “Our Dublin-Waterford €2 fare offer is another great value-for money deal available to anyone who visits our Twitter site, which has regular updates on promotional fares, special services and service information,” said Andrew McLindon, PR and Media Manager, Bus Éireann.

    Bus Éireann’s use of Twitter is another example of the company’s commitment to digital innovation. Bus Éireann led the way among European bus companies in providing on-line ticket sales for immediate use through its website (www.buseireann.ie) and will also shortly introduce its real-time passenger information system that will provide customers with up-to-the minute details on when buses will arrive and depart at stops across the country via their mobile phone and the Internet.
