Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The above is a new book by Denis G. Marnane. €30 from County Tipperary Historical Society, Cathedral St., Thurles. It covers the activities of the 3rd Brigade.

I have not seen it yet but if it is anything like another by him (which I have - Land & Violence) it will be worth the price.

The Third Tipperary is always good for material, particularly with all the 'celebrities' it had in its ranks such as Dan Breen, Seán Treacy and Denis Lacey.

I picked it up a few weeks ago, more local historians like Marnane are needed
