Petrol power washer cutting out

    I have a Lidl petrol washer.
    It keeps cutting out. I'm on a well. Could it be a pressure issue?

    Is there a petrol washer that would work on a well?

    Try leaving the lid loose on the petrol tank. Could be sealing causing a vacuum in the tank.

    This was problem on my Honda washer and a new lid sorted it.

    99 times out if 100 you have insufficient litres per min going tothe pressure washer

    Try connecting it to a kitchen or other tap, and see how that works. If it does not cut out, problem solved. If it keeps cutting out, then the problem is within the washer.

    Don't have much choice on water source. I've a well and that's it.
    The pressure is, dependent on the pump activating.

    Would an electric one have the same issues?

    A friend is lending me his which uses a barrel of water as, it's source.

    Get a 25 ltr plastic drum, put it up on a table or something higher than the washer, drop the feed hose in and run it. Gravity should provide enough pressure to keep it going , at least long enough to check out the stopping problem.
