Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi All, Whats the secret to garden centres having green/lush/near perfect buxus hedges? I have one potted in top soil but can see after few months the colouring goes so wondering how the garden centres do it? Thanks

Fertiliser. Most plants they stock have enough fertiliser to last for a year

Buxus are a tricky plant. They should be in a sheltered spot, as they wind-burn very easily. Drought damages them, and rain often doesn’t get to their roots, depending on how they are clipped. Regular watering of the roots is needed. In production they are drip watered in a poly tunnel. Fertilizer is needed, they are greedy. And they are prone to disease, box blight.
