Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah, sure you could go into IKEA and get five of them for a grand.

did you bother opening the link, its quite telling when someone has a response before even reading the post.

Where did i reference IKEA and where in the link did it reference IKEA.

Made a bit of a show of oneself posting before reading again.

You'd swear someone in dublin city council had robbed a pensioner and put the carpets in their own house. When do you think catpets were last changed in this building? Hate to break it to people but had this money not been spent on maintenance of the mansion house, it wouldn't have been redirected to homeless services, that's not how public funding works. Budgets are allocated to different areas. This building is used to schmooze foreign business people and dignitaries, you've got to spend money to make money.

I think you'll find that this is a microcosm of how procurement is dealt with at all levels .

Sure you seen what went on with HSE funded hospitals only last week.

    Poolbeg incinerator.

These things happen because the controls and audits are missing and there is no fear of losing one's job.

When it's other people's money it doesn't matter.

This is just a tip of the iceberg and you know that.
