Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone got any good source for a decent desk chair?

I have an aeron at work but don't want to spend 700 on a second hand one. Ideally somewhere around the 100 mark with lumbar and head support would be ideal.

I got this a few weeks ago through Amazon warehouse which cost £75 and is really comfy.

Is it a state run company you work for? I remember a few years back a ton of aereon chairs were dumped by ESB because they were moving offices.

Oh and Lidl had decent chairs in last week for 70. Might find one in your local.

Seconding this, I picked up the IKEA Markus at this price at the start of lockdown, and it's a lifesaver. For reference, I'm 6'6" with all the potential for bad spine that suggests. It's more comfortable than the v expensive Zody chairs we have in the office, highly recommend.

+1 for IKEA Marku. Good back and neck support. The only downside is the arm support can't be adjusted.

I recommend Ergonomic adjustable office chair of Duramont. This ergonomic office chair is very comfortable and has a lot of interesting features. Very easy to assemble and only took me 15 min. With my lower back issues, this chair can ease off that pain with a cushon that supports the lower body in which is also adjustable. And if you like to move around the area with your chair, the rollerblade wheels are easy to glide with on hard and carpeted services.
