Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The design on the sleeves and the bottom looks awful.

Nor me, and they usually have a pretty good kit. Worst one of theirs for a few years?

The Welsh home kit looks like a Mayo GAA away jersey.

Those adidas kits are basically the same but for the colours, not much invention going on at all.

I like the collar/buttons of the Colombia home jersey. Pity the away isn't the same

That mesh type detail on them is awful looking.

Both the Columbia home & away are terrible compared to there world cup ones.

Jesus christ when will they make jerseys with the husky gentleman in mind?

Crazy design for next season's Barcelona kit. The newspaper who posted the below image, Sport, leaked the current season's kits at around this time last year.

Doesn't look too bad, but doesn't make too much sense when the stripes on their badge are horizontal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,476 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

It'll look better in person I hope, but that home jersey looks like a horrible Asian con-job from the local market fake look about it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 405 ✭✭danrua01

Yeah, reminds me of Bayern's away shirt, but that's not a Nike template. Or is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,338 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Barca have always had vertical stripes though haven't they? Shame as before they got the sponsors they had the best jerseys in the world with character and tradition to boot. My favourite jersey is one I still have from the Ronaldinho era.

The Kappa one was nice, with Fat Ronaldo.

Thank you, though I'm not someone who blindly supports everything Barcelona does. I have massive affection for the club and it's traditions and what it stands for, which is why next seasons jersey is just the latest injustice against those principles and traditions. I genuinely believe that you could make a strong case that this board (the unelected Bartomeu and his predecessor Sandro Rosell) are, aside from the atrocities that took place under Franco's rule, the worst thing to ever happen to FC Barcelona. Through the vision of Laporta, Guardiola, Tito Vilanova, Txiki Begiristain, Ferran Soriano ect. Barcelona captured lightening in a bottle, they had returned to the Cruyff philosophy, the club embodied so much to so many and yet now, in 2014, the current board go out of their way to rob the people of the club that they deserve, to make te great Barcelona side of Pep, of Tito, a distant memory.

I love this, whore your club for petro dollars to a tyrannical regime in the form of an absolute monarchy that belongs in the middle ages = good business.

Change the stripes on the shirt from vertical to horizontal = OUTRAGE!!!!

Find me a cule who would rather sponsors on the jersey and I'll show you a fraud. The sad fact of modern football is its a necessary evil it would seem. how else can Barcelona compete with Man City, Chelsea or PSG? How can they compete with government backed Real Madrid? Once the oil money started to flow in football comprises were inevitable.

However this is a comprise that is needless and could have been avoided. It's a board who find new ways to outrage the fans of the club each day.

Would they not still be under Warrior or has something changed? It is a dreadful effort though, the silver lining being their 2nd and 3rd kits aren't atrocious!

Guarantee you'll see tens of thousands still being sold on each matchday in the club store though.

Weird to see New Balance finally move into Football with their own name. No more of the exclusive athletic mag sponsorship. . Those jerseys are mank. .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,338 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

The Barca jersey is a nice jersey, tough not to make a nice one with those colours, but it is still a bit of a joke. It'd be like Celtic going vertical with "the hoops" tbh.

Less said about the Liverpool one the better I think.

The Bohs one would be exceptionally class if it wasn't for the sponsor. Still a great effort from Hummel who to be fair maintain a high standard.
Worst Cork City kit I can remember.

Well considering their logo is actually green, they've been nice enough to let it be white!

    Very nice kit
