Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    That would have sealed it.

Cavani 'the mercenarie' is a great player

    Great work rate and movement

    Doesn't dive too

You missed that dive in the box after the ball came back off the post there? :pac:

    Great work rate and movement

    Doesn't dive too

He's been kicked up and down the pitch all evening and just gets up, dusts himself down and keeps going

Bruno saved him, his horrific ball gave Liverpool there second

Jenas adores Pogba too much. He played ok, but gave the ball away twice in dangerous positions during the game due to him being too casual on the ball. I'm not sure who deserves MOTM, but Pogba wouldn't be up there.

Never thought I'd see the day when Harry Maguire wasn't the slowest centre back on the pitch, but that Rhys Williams has a touch of the Mertesackers to him.

Yea Thiago and Fabinho getting away with murder all game

He is so good at exposing weaknesses in teams with his movement

    **** Williams is awful.

Shame Cavani had to spoil a good game by cheating. Liverpool had the chances before that to take the lead themselves.

  • One of the best midfielders in Europe Bruno wins it for Utd

Best player in the league does it again

    Beast Bruno

TAA is overrated, still can't believe lads think he's better than Neville lol

Get the **** in, smashing Liverpool is delicious

Only saw the last 20ish mins and Liverpool didn't look at the races at all.

    Without a doubt

Maguire made a game of it where we overall dominated the game

Liverpool don't look themselves at all. More caffeine needed, I reckon.

Have to say apart from all the time he spent fouling Utd players I'm not seeing what exactly it is that makes Thiago this all time great midfielder

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,488 ✭✭✭Ordinary man

Nearly time to bring out the old scouser boom and bust diagram. Greatest team ever in the premiership though

0 wins and 0 goal contributions every time he has started for Liverpool according to Twitter

    Overrated

I know he is only 5'9" or thereabouts but even if you are of the opinion it wasn't a free kick you'd have to be disappointed in his attempt to get his head on that free kick.

Man Utd lucky and get the breaks again. A howler form a defender let's Rashford run 30 yards 1v1 and then Cavani "uses his experience to buy a free kick" and score from a placed ball again.

Liverpool showed improvements but a costly error to lose it, and will rue missed chances, especially the Milner one. The 30 mins after 2-1, they were very good and much the better team. United couldn't create bar kicking it long for the sprinters to run into space.

    2 familiar stories there really.

Football was the real winner today. Nice to see a good game and goals in a United match v top 4.

No mention about Mane nearly breaking a ankle. Should have been red.

Good see BBC lads call out the foul that led to winner.

Good to see Wright and Jenas calling out the dive alright.

Thought Mane was a yellow myself, not super reckless to warrant a red. Tis a contact sport.

  • I think Klopp might have to start complaining about Brunos Free Kicks now as the penalty moaning didn't work out so well for him

Always nice to support a team still in the fa cup after january, just a little extra to look forward to

Glorious reading over the last few pages. #GreatNews.

United played on their terms, kept things in front of them, played on the counter with fast wide players and exposed the best left and right back in the world. Cavani used all his experience and drew a foul from a guy who is not a centre back. And Bruno beats the best goalkeeper in the world with a free kick placed to perfection where said keeper should've been guarding.

Said it after Thursday night, but Liverpool should get in the blower to Burnley about Ben Mee and consider Dyche whenever Klopp goes.

Think they'll turn it round but there's shades of klopps final season at Dortmund about this team. There's only so long you can keep up that high pressing game before exhaustion and injuries catch up with it. That's what's happening now.

No mention about Mane nearly breaking a ankle. Should have been red.

Remember when WBA won a penalty at Old Trafford earlier in the season but it got ruled out because Bruno 'got a stud on the ball' and didn't actually change the direction of the ball etc but Utd fans said it can't be a foul because Bruno won the ball and any follow through didn't count. Why don't you apply that thinking here too?

Tribalism is bad and you and others and very guilty of it here again. Bias clouding judgement.

What's the point of Thaigo in this Liverpool squad btw? Obviously a great player but what does he do? Is that still no wins when he starts?

A luxury when they needed a centre back badly. Ben Mee up the road and a better centre back than they have bar Van Dijk

Reminds me a bit of our Donny. But we needed a RM instead.

Ah lads, it's a Mickley mouse cup, I know it a big deal for utd but for some bigger teams not so much. Congrats though, could this be a oles best chance of a cup.

    I think perspective is needed,
Its a bad patch with multiple injuries to hugley important players no need for over reaction

Most of the over reaction seems to be coming from United fans, nobody has won anything yet theres a long road to go,

United themselves could still end up throphy less and dont forget its still possible they finish behind Liverpool,

    Gloating has started strangle early

Was it a mickey mouse cup that time Liverpool tried comparing their treble of league, fa and uefa cup to champions league, fa cup and league title????
