Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Probably been covered a million times but looking to see if theres any particular companies or brokers worth a shot?

It's for an 18 year old female first time driver with a provisional licence on a 2009 VW Polo 1.2

Best quotes so far are €3300 on provisional or €2200 on a full licence which in todays market isn't bad but still trying. Any help appreciated.

    Have you tried boxymo?

They seem to be the best priced for first time drivers.

There is no one particular cheap insurance company for everyone. There really is no shortcut when it comes to shopping for motor insurance as prices are dictated by the individual's location, type and age of the car. It's the same for pretty much everyone in enduring the task of contacting as many companies and brokers as possible.

Boxy mo are by far the cheapest in my opinion but just make sure to buy the correct amount of miles because toping up is a pain

Wasn't interested in Boxymo heard too many bad stories.

Anyway got her sorted, €2900 in her own name with Axa on a provisional with further discounts to be subtracted later on. Below €2000 when she gets the full licence.

Happy enough with that. Plenty of people paying more as named drivers or with more experience!
