Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

After a long search I've narrowed down my options to 2 LG models - 55SM9010PLA or 55SM8200PLA.

The biggest different I can see is the 9010 has Dolby Atmos. Is it worth the extra €300. TV will be used main for sports & movies, no gaming. Any advice appreciated.

I think it might be better posting in Home Entertainment - General as this is more a forum for home appliances like washing machines, etc.

Personally, I would probably spend the extra 300 or less on a soundbar or something.

Modern televisions generally have pretty poor sound compared to soundbar or even a cheap amp/speaker setup. I wouldn't pay an extra 300 for it. There's a RicherSounds forum on here, might be worth asking about a sound bar in there, they're usually very good.
