in the university area of limerick (castletroy) rent is as low as 25 euro a week per person per room.some of the houses are gorgeous.its a five minute bus journey from the city centre but has all you need in the area anyway.rent is so cheap cause most of the students are gone home for the summer. casteltroy / caherdavin is v. cheap during the summer. Check out a copy of the limerick post (hardcopy or classifieds on limerickpost.ie), or call out - many places will have signs up on the house. Some of the places are dodgy - be forewarned!
