Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tallght did, it took a few years but was Tallaght Institute of Technology when they opened their doors and they changed it to ITT a few years ago.

GMIT is the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology as it has 2 (3?) campuses in Mayo.

So that's why there was never a campaign for Sligo I.T. to become a Sligo Higher Institute of Technology.

Mind you there is a W.I.T. in Waterford. Does that make its undergraduates or part time students half-W.I.T.s ?

I never knew it was called the Galway Mayo Institute of technology, so when I made my fake ID it had GIT written across the top. Still worked.

They defo do. I still have a hoodie somewhere from Tipperary Institute of Technology, they used to just go by TI. That was before LIT bought them up and took over those campuses.

It was just Tipperary Institute, there was no Technology.

Hmmmmm. I wonder if that's why the Sligo-Leitrim University of Technology and Science never got off the ground.

Well that and the fact that neither science nor technology has made it to either county yet...........
