Hi , we are the same we bought parkside gardens !! Apparently it’s a dispute over parking spaces and there’s a long delay in contracts due to this. Have they given you a finish date by any chance ?

Had interest in this estate when buying last year but bought elsewhere.

There is a thread in the accommodation and property forum here:

Ah I see! We're constantly hounding the selling agent to get an ides, good to know we're not the only ones in the same boat. They haven't given us a finish date but the last time we talked to them they said it was ahead of schedule. The scheduled date was December so hopefully around then

Hi Emma , that’s great to hear they are on track. We have been down most weekends for a look a the roofs are on and windows are in which is great !! We rang the estate agent yesterday to follow up and he assumes contracts should be the next week or so. Also he said he could not give us measurements as this has to come from the contractor which is a pain but hopefully the contracts will be out soon and we can all start making movement.

Brilliant. Hopefully we'll have the contracts before it's time to move in!!!

    Hi,
Do you know where the social housing units are coming in this development?

Hi does anyone know what the deal is with the help to buy scheme? Will it come off the deposit we pay upon signing contracts or just off the overall cost of the house?

They will be spread right through the whole development.

No way of finding out where abouts.

Another 550 new homes planned between Cairn and NAMA announced this morning. Anybody know the exact location? Seems to be getting quite built-up around there already.

Would it be down in the large field towards portmarnock? If you were coming from the malahide road turning right at campions then going down and taking the right turn up to clongriffen theres a field on the junction there

Think you might be right. With the amount of housing going in you would think that Clongriffin Shopping Centre will eventually get a mid sized grocery store to move in.
