    Folks,

Getting married in a matter of months and looking for good music to get the DJ to play - songs that are outside of the standard Gloria Gaynor/Proclaimers type stuff but that will still have the dnace floor full

    Any ideas??

    Thanks..

After DJing for weddings a while back it can be a minefield..

First thing.. have a song you 2 want..

Then have songs that everyone can sing along to, believe me it works.. A bit of Abba, reworks of classics like what Girls Aloud did a while back.. few slow ones.. poppy, rocky and soppy thats the name of the game ..

I have used Jazz (Committments stuff) some rock/indie stuff, pop and current top 40. I find that also some stuff from movies seems to work as well..

Again, its done to personal taste and you cant cover everyone!

If your dj can't recommend the type of music you require I wouldn't be hiring him. There are other options you know....(looks at signature)
