    Hello all,

Long story short, my mechanic lost the wee 10mm nut cover thing that holds down the plastic cover for my battery.

So he fitted a 10mm nut and washer but that means I need a spanner to get access to my battery. I'd like to be able to do it by hand rather than use a spanner.

Visited Halfords and Homebase and neither had something suitable.

    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

    Nice one! Thanks for that!

I was thinking more along the lines of a plastic housing for the nut that would have notches of some kind that would allow for turning. But a wing nut should do the job perfectly.

If anyone knows what the plastic housing I'm thinking of is called, I'd like to know. Thanks!
