Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah I've heard good things about it. The horde tech is meant to be class. Up to 500 zombies on screen at once coming at you must be pretty cool.

Some interesting deals on Steam have just popped up, like 34% off Resi 2, and 70% off Shibuya Scramble, a must play for any visual novel fans apparently.

GameStop Dundrum has very cheap DS units for sale. I would suspect they are preowned but not sure, definitely mint.

Pick of the bunch has to be a DS Lite for 12.49. Throw on a flashcart and you have a cheap haven of gaming at your fingertips.

Sweet. Just bought a DSi Lite on the website for €20 with free delivery :)

Project Cars is going fairly cheap in the Playstation store

I got the GOTY Edition for €15 but from memory I think the standard one was only €10!

Spent the weekend playing it and I'm impressed!

Where’s the best for a 12 month one then? PlayStation store? Is the normal price about €50? Tia

    €60.

You could buy 3 x €20 vouchers for €54 on CD Keys.

And just put the three codes in?

Would you be able to give me a link?

Sorry I’m crap at this stuff

Ah. Then to answer your original question, yeah buying 3 x €20 vouchers will do for €54. Just add all 3 codes to account and purchase it on PSN for €60.

On cd keys or on the ps store??

Buy the €20 codes, add them on PSN, then buy a 12 month sub with the credit on PSN.

10 digit redeem is in the basket, these are used for discount codes.

12 digit codes are redeemed by clicking on your profile picture and selecting the redeem code option.

If you download the PS app for your phone you can access the redeem codes page by pressing the ps button, the code can then be entered manually or scanned with your camera.

Yes, and that code needs to be entered on PSN to redeem what was purchased.

You go to the redeem code page, it allows you to redeem prepaid codes. You are trying to add the code at the checkout, which only allows you to enter 10 digit discount codes.

Thanks, I think it’s being entered incorrectly?

Am I right in saying there’s no hyphens or spaces, maybe that’s the issue.

Should the code just be entered all in one go?

No hypens or spaces, just the alpha numeric characters.

Resident Evil 2 is actually pretty decent value at this time.

    €19.99 from Smith Toy Store

    €20.99 in Argos

    €24.99 in Gamestop

Went to check Steam for Pricing and Surprisingly, Steam is the most expensive at €29.99

Xbox Store is also €29.99. There's still value to be had from brick and mortar stores :) especially considering you could always trade the disc back in at a later point.

Unless you hate having a huge collection of discs around the house.

Aye this has always been true. Made any argument that gaming on a PC was cheaper invalid, if you considered getting the PC part of the cost.

Now with Gamepass it might be a different story, but again you can get Gamepass on the One X which is cheaper than an equivalent PC. Although XBox Live flips things again.

Ah but the above is more of an exception as opposed to a rule.
I am lucky to have all 3 and I fish out the cheapest bargains for games depending on which is the cheapest. If there's no sale on, it's a 90% chance that a PC game will be 10-30 euro cheaper on CD Keys or Steam, EA Origin, etc.

    In the example above.

CD Keys is now selling the PC Version for €18.89
    Xbox Store is €19.79

All the brick and mortar stores have gone up to the usual price.

I am trying to decide which one to get.

Microsoft and Sony starting their black Friday sale early.

Argos and Smyth's have a lot of reductions on everything from games to headsets.

Anyone know any good PS+ deals from trusted websites? Need a minimum of a year.

Press Start/Instant Gaming are the only ones I know of that sell Irish PS+ subs below face value, they sell a 12 month sub for €48.

Speaking of which, does anyone know where would be the best place to sell a code? I got one from Press Start for my brother before he realised he had a UK account .

Forgive me ignorance but I'm in England, would that be an issue?

Not that I am aware of. You can get subs below face value in other territories too, Ireland is just such a small market no one bothers doing it for here.
