    Daidí Nollag? Shouldn't it have been Athar Nollag?

    Maybe it relates to the word for granddad and age is somehow implied in its use in Daidí na Nollag. I'm sure someone will have a much better explanation/suggestion!

    I reckon it's because Athair is used as a title for priests.

    Well it's actually 'Daidí na Nollag' and it's only weird if you're attempting a direct word-for-word translation from English in Irish, which often doesn't work.
