Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

€40 off, according to the site. It's still a tiny bit too much for something I'd use as a toy, but I thought someone might be interested.

I would say that is even pricey for the full retail price.
The originals were available for under 50 and clones for under 20.
Handy for bike or car with reasonable quality but really a toy.
Any amount of clones and variations available on eb for very little money.
I think the only physical difference between this and the clones is a slide switch instead of push button for mode just in case you are seeking the OEM product.

Amazon is selling it for much less. About €23.

(although amazon's photo seems to have photoshopped the logo out.)

There was an identical camera to this one on 7dayshop.com for £12.99 not that long ago.

Can't seem to find a link at the moment but I will put one up if I can find it.

This is definitely not worth €60 or anything close.

    (EDIT)

€10 delivered on DealExtreme but no memory card

An 8Gb Class 4 microSD will cost you €10

Cool little device, but I feel sorry for the 13 people who actually bought this, for THAT price!

Unfortunately, GruUpy's gadgets as of late have been pretty damn disappointing.

DX and Buyincoins do an identical cam for €8.99 including postage.

I'm a big fan of these deal sites but at this stage I'm willing to call GruUpy a failure. When they have something interesting it's usually not cheap enough (~5% off elsewhere) to warrant buying what they have instead of being able to buy a different brand based on reviews etc.

I like the fact that they don't censor the comment section but that (and the free shipping) is pretty much all they have going for them. They seem to be ignoring the core issue: they need to have either genuinely excellent deals on pretty much whatever or OK deals on things that people really want. Instead they're falling into the gap between the two.

fdevine, that one on DX looks pretty damn similar.

That's a marketplace seller and delivery is £13.99 so overall price would be about €33.50.

    Still cheaper than GruUpy though!

I like the look of the DX ones, thanks guys. The little spy cam thingy that I got through here months ago is in bits so I need :D a new one.

Stoopid question alert: could I just take out the microSD card from that and use it on a new one? (assuming I haven't broken that too!)

Similar rather than identical as I think this AEE is OEM possibly an MD80 where as majority are clones and almost identical.
But for price vs value - I guess no comparison

And to answer the SD card qx - yes

Should work fine if they're both microSD

Gruupy has been bad for a while.

They were quite good at the beginning, who knows maybe they just lined up a load of good things as a marketing ploy when they launched.

But I haven't even considered buying anything from there in weeks, and even before that anytime I have considered, it turns out the product they mention isn't the one they're selling or they've mentioned features that aren't actually part of what they are selling!

Yep, I'm another one that has to say unfortunately Gruupy has been a disappointment and I won't bother looking at in in future.

CityDeals.ie (with the 10% extra cashback to be had by going via FatCheese.ie) and LivingSocial.com it is for by bargain hunting from now on (they have different offering focuses I know but...).
