Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Opinion on Glow-worm boilers

    I got a quote for the replacement of our (very old) Suprima 50, and it includes a Glow-worm condensing 24kw system boiler with a 7 year warranty.

    I found some strong negative opinions about Glow-worm on Boards.ie :)


    Their Trustpilot site has a good rating:

    but they only scored 54% in the Which survey from 2018:
    Reliabiliy ⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Customer Score ⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Engineer Recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Availability of Parts and Spares ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Ease of fixing a fault ⭐️⭐️⭐️
    Ease of Servicing ⭐️⭐️


    I see that they are now part of the Vaillant group.



    How good are the recent Glow-worm boilers?

    Alot of people have different opinions on different brands

    I dont think the Glowworm is a bad boiler but there is definitely lots better boilers on the market.

    Viessmann,Bosch,vogue, ect
